The Sail Loft is situated a five minute walk to the village & beach.
We offer a quiet, luxury retreat with views overlooking the fabulous Teign Estuary out to sea one way and Dartmoor the other.
Ideal for walkers, cyclists or romantic strolls along the beaches.
From underneath the kitchen window you can see our very own miniature ponies grazing and an abundance of visiting wildlife and variety of birds.

Location
At The Sail Loft there are a number of animals who'd love to meet you.
We have dogs, three miniature shetland ponies & a palamino pony.
Very cheeky characters with their very own personalities.
The visiting wildlife is fascinating too with owls, bats, foxes, rabbits, herons and buzzards at your feet.
We are certain you'll love them all even if you're not an animal lover!
The area is perfect for walkers turn right for miles of countryside and left for the river and sea!
Shaldon - Is a quaint fishing village surrounded by glorious countryside in the depths of South Devon.
Fantastic beach cafes & pubs occupy the village mainly, along with post office, spar, butchers,newsagents & chemist.
Teignmouth -
A short and pleasant ferry trip over the river or
a stroll over the bridge.The harbour & main beach
of Teignmouth offers a range of water sports
such as fishing,kayaking, jet ski
& daily boat trips.

Monday 31st May 2010-Spring Fete &Crowning Ceremony-Village Green 11am.
Shaldon Festival 2010-17th-20th June see www.shaldonfestival.co.uk.
Saturday 7th August -Water Carnival Day-Beach from 1030am-Village Green from 6.30pm.
This fun event commences with beach competitions followed by a street Carnival parade for children around mid-day.
Throughout there are stalls on the beach and various games and entertainments but the climax of the day is the Parade of Decorated Boats, the Water Carnival itself, at around 5 pm (tide variations permitting).
Saturday 4th December -Winter Ball at The Ness.
Sunday 26th December -Boxing Day 3 legged Fancy Dress Race
